Grab is Setting Up a Drive-through Vaccination Service Across Indonesia With the Government, Plans to Vaccinate 2,500 Drivers and 5k People/week in Bali Center: Grab Indonesia 5k Balipermatasaribloomberg

Grab Indonesia 5k Balipermatasaribloomberg: Grab Indonesia is collaborating with the government to create a drive-through vaccination service across Indonesia. Our goal is to vaccinate 2,500 drivers and 5,000 people per week in the Bali center (you can read more about this in our “Grab VACCINES” blog post).

This project will aim for improved public health and make it easier for Indonesians to access immunization services. It will provide an opportunity for people to get vaccinated at affordable rates. Furthermore, it will reduce the spread of diseases, especially outbreaks in Indonesia.

Grab, as more of a service provider than a corporation, is committed to improving public health across Indonesia and giving opportunities for everyone to take part in this initiative, regardless of their socioeconomic status.

Grab is also planning to provide complementary services like health check-ups and maternal care so drivers and their children can be healthy.

We will be collaborating with the government to implement this project. We are also planning to provide training sessions for our drivers so that they can serve as health ambassadors.

With Grab’s plan, many people will have access to immunization services at an affordable cost. This is a big step towards reducing the spread of diseases in Indonesia.

We are planning to roll out the drive-through vaccination service in other cities which has high traffic and a lot of drivers. For example, we have started testing it in Bali as a pilot project, and we will soon expand it to Jakarta and Medan.

We believe that providing more people with access to immunization services is an important step towards improving public health in Indonesia. We hope that this project can make a big difference for Indonesians, especially the less fortunate ones.

On behalf of the Grab Indonesia team, we hope that people can work together with us to bring this project to reality. The Indonesian government and Grab are currently seeking partners from the private sector who can help implement this program. We would appreciate your support in making it happen.

Everyone can play their part to ensure that the next generation is healthy, including the more than half of Indonesians who do not know how to perform a safe needle-stick vaccination and the 70% of parents who do not trust vaccines (source: Indonesia Health Analysis, 2016).
